The research and development activities of the Company are aimed at, on the one hand, developing IT solutions and systems required for the carrying out of the services offered by the Medical Equipment and Devices Business Unit and, on the other hand, at extending the know-how and the capacity of supplying services, identifying the technological innovations which will have a significant impact on the activities and the services supplied by the e-Health Systems and Solutions Business Unit.

The Group carries out research and development activities internally, through its own employees, who refer directly to the Commercial Operations, Research & Development Department, and participate in the single research projects, both through collaborations with scientific structures such as entities, research centres and universities. Some projects have access to regional, national or European funding.
