Business Model

Through this model the Group is developing - in outsourcing - services relating to the management of technology in multi-vendor modality and the on-site supply of these services.

  • Development and identification of the services
    The information of its databases, the experience and management's in-depth knowledge of the national healthcare systems identify potential needs of the target clients and customised solutions for the needs.
  • Marketing
    The objective of theses activities is to communicate the benefits provided by the services, solutions and systems offered by the Group to the key decision makers of the organisations, clients and other entities responsible for social and healthcare services as well as to supply sales structures the tools  that may be useful in effectively communicating solutions.
  • Sale and planning of the services
    The sale force carries out monitoring, incentive and information service activities for the clients in relation to the benefits deriving from the solutions offered and implemented by the Group. The Tender Offers and Projects Office develops a commercial offer and a Technical project which includes: type, size, supply of the services, additional services, and improvements to the services requested by the client.
  • Development of the technological platform
    The data centre of the Group operates in Trieste (Italy), connecting the over 300 sites where the various companies of the Group operate, in six different languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese), the IT system for the management of all the activities connected to the clinical engineering services (SI3C). The system incorporates the Group's knowledge of the law and of management, it represents all the procedures, coding of all the biomedical equipment managed by the Group (organised according to the manufacturer and model), registers all maintenance interventions carried out, collects and analyses  the prices of each single biomedical equipment purchased.
  • Service supply

    Clinical engineering

    Within health care facilities, TBS Group makes a properly equipped staff of its own employees available, who have different types and levels of skills and are organised in such a way that they are capable of directly providing the requested clinical engineering services on site. 43 Regional Operational Centres, supported by 24 Specialised Competence Centres, are in charge of coordinating health centres.

    The main types of agreements applied – Professional services, Hourly Billed Services (HBS) e Global Service,- are designed according to the customers necessities.

    Medical IT

    In the installation phase, a team is formed guided by a project manager and by a business analyst to gather the specific tailoring of the software systems and modify them to achieve a solution which is customised for the needs of the client. In the maintenance phase the technical structure carries out repair services while the business analysts are available to extend the functionality of the solutions to adapt them to the customers needs.

    Telecare and telemedicine

    The supply of the integrated services relating to the e-Health centres is structured in three phases: the activation of the services, the installation at the client's home and taking control of the supply of the service by the e-Health centre.
  • Quality
    The Quality Management System, through a defined organization, enables the Group to satisfy the requirements of the client and to continuously improve its results.
    The implementation of the Quality Management System is monitored through periodical internal audits aimed at verifying the compliance with the requirements and at evaluating possible opportunities to improve the system.
